Trinidad and Tobago Looking to Attract Corporate Travelers

Opening late 2007, the 428 room Hyatt Regency Trinidad, within Trinidad and Tobago's redesigned Waterfront Development, will offer meeting facilities with 43,000 square feet of meeting space, a 16,000-square-foot grand ballroom and a 10,000-square-foot multi-purpose facility, full-service restaurants with a lobby bar and lounge, rooftop bar and grill, 9,000-square-foot spa and fitness center and a rooftop pool and terrace. The new Hyatt is part of Trinidad and Tobago's efforts to cater to the corporate traveler, says James Hepple, president of the Tourism and Development Company of Trinidad & Tobago.
