The film The Heart of Alaska, which won the award for Best Cinematography at the New York Independent Film Festival, takes you deep into the gigantic state's interior, where eco-tourism and adventure travel is alive and well. Whether it's exploring Mt. McKinley or viewing waterfalls at Denali National Park, among other activities, there is a rich blend of beauty, culture and history everywhere you look.
