ESPA to Debut at Acqualina

November 8, 2006 By: Debbie Strong Travel Agent

Acqualina, A Rosewood Resort in Sunny Isles Beach, FL, has announced that it will open ESPA, the first-ever branded ESPA in the United States on December 15. ESPA uses a blend of ancient and modern techniques involving aromatherapy, hydrotherapy, thalassotherapy (exposure to seawater) and phytotherapy (the use of plants or plant extracts). Unlike treatments common in the United States, ESPA's can last up to four or five hours in one session (rather than just 30–60 minutes). The 20,000-square-foot spa will span two stories and feature 11 multi-functional treatment rooms, one Private Spa Treatment Suite, four Spa Express Beauty Suites, an outdoor spa pool and heated jet pool.
