Construction has begun for the Hakkasan Las Vegas, a luxury Chinese restaurant complete with lounge and nightclub, at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. The restaurant has taken over the space previously filled by Studio 54 and has its main exterior façade on one of the busiest intersections on the Strip; Las Vegas Boulevard South and Tropicana Avenue.
The brand has launched a new website for the restaurant, hakkasanlv.com, where future guests can stay updated with the construction of the venue with a live camera, and options to sign up for insider information, news and announcements. They also have a Facebook and Twitter.
This is the third restaurant to open in the US; the other two located in Miami and most recently in NYC. Hakkasan also has plans for San Francisco and Los Angeles in the coming year.
