Las Vegas Launches a New Campaign To Encourage Visitors To ‘Keep Their Lips Sealed’ (VIDEO)

Without a doubt, one of the main draws of an escape to Las Vegas is the unbridled freedom guests can expect and enjoy. In a place driven by amusement and fun (and where a little debauchery is practically encouraged), things are bound to be entertaining. While the temptation may be great to share all of one’s stories at the (literal or allegorical) water cooler, the “What Happens Here, Stays Here” campaign is seeking to preserve the carefree and permissive atmosphere for which Las Vegas prides itself. Thus, the concept of eliminating the water cooler, the archetypal spot chosen by colleagues for sharing latest scoop, emerged. However, the question remains: will no cooler realistically lead to no chatter?

As a supplement to the television commercial, an accompanying social media movement, labelled as #StopWaterCoolerTalk, will also be set in motion starting October 17th in an effort to interact with online audiences, who are encouraged to propose effective strategies to curtail Vegas-related water cooler conversation. Regardless of whether this aim is eventually reached, it’s no secret that Las Vegas will undoubtedly be garnering some increased visibility resulting from this recent endeavor.
