The Spa at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegasis offering an interactive learning experience teaching couples how to re-create the massage experience at home. The 30,000-square-foot lakeside destination, located 17 miles southeast of the Las Vegas strip, is also offering teenagers and parents hands-on skin care and make-up training with take-home applications.
The Massage Mentoring for Couples program is a 60-minute interactive session during which partners learn how to massage each other under the instruction of one of the Spa's massage therapists. Guests meet with the therapist to discuss the benefits of massage and then observe and learn massage techniques on each other to improve relaxation and ease muscle tension in each partner. Couples receive a detailed instruction guide, with their own notes included, a certificate of participation and an aromatherapy kit containing a candle, bath and body oil to take home. The therapist also arranges a follow-up call for one week later, to answer any questions that guests may have after practicing their new-found knowledge at home. The session is priced at $225 per couple.
The Skin and Make-Up Mentoring session for adults addresses skin conditions and questions about sun damage, anti-aging and other skin issues. The latest make-up tips and techniques are also covered, with a goal of making cosmetic color selection and application as easy, affordable and effective as possible. Take-home instructions are provided along with recommendations for each guest’s new complexion routine and make-up looks. A spa gift of two complimentary make-up items allows guests to continue practicing their new-found skills at home. The 90-minute session is priced at $225.
To help teens start off on the right foot, the Teen Skin and Make-Up Mentoring offers younger guests advice on sun damage prevention and mineral make-up application. At the end of the session, guests receive take-home instructions with recommendations for a new skin care routine and make-up looks, along with two complimentary cosmetic items. A parent must accompany guests under 18 years of age. The 90-minute session is priced at $225.
