NYC & Company and the Association for a Better New York announced NYC(c)NOLA, a special travel mission to New Orleans from Feb. 10–12. The mission will bring together New York residents, NYC & Company board members and civic leaders in an effort to help rebuild tourism. "Our city's tourism industry, which is now enjoying record highs, was revitalized with help and support from the many patriotic tourism visitors who traveled to New York following September 11th," said Cristyne Nicholas, president and CEO of NYC & Company. "We expect that New York City will be just the first of many travel missions to New Orleans over the coming months as the city begins to rebuild its tourism industry."
