A $1.5 billion, first-of-its-kind Ritz-Carlton Community is slated to debut in Arizona on the Scottsdale and Paradise Valley border, Five Star Development, the company building the mixed-use community, announced today. Five Star acquired 123 acres to build on, which will house the 225-room Ritz-Carlton property, as well as a residential development, luxury homes and a planned mixed-use component. The company purchased the land for nearly $100 million from an affiliate of Marriott International.
