Ski Utah, the marketing firm owned and operated by the 14 statewide ski resorts that make up the Utah Ski and Snowboard Association, has named Susie English as its new Director of Communications.
English will focus on sharing the message of Utah's ski resorts with local, national and international media with an in-depth knowledge of public relations, marketing and the Utah ski industry, as well as a passion for the mountains and skiing. Most recently with Rossignol Ski Apparel as the Marketing Manager, Susie focused on strategic marketing, public relations and event management. Previously, English worked in the marketing department of Deer Valley Resort as the Communications Coordinator.
She received a bachelor of science degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Denver in 2005. A Park City native, English is an outdoor enthusiast and very familiar with all of Utah's resorts.
English replaced Jessica Kunzer, who stepped down earlier this summer to accept a similar position with Mountain Sports International in Salt Lake City.
