Hugh McCarthy, spokesperson for Mita Residential, recently told Travel Agent that agents can receive a 20 percent commission from now until June 1, 2007, if they book Las Palmas de Punta Mita villas.
After June, commission for the villas will be 10 percent, McCarthy says. Rental rates for a one-story, three-bedroom villa start at $900 per night, a two-story, three-bedroom villa starts at $1,050 and a two-story, four-bedroom villa starts at $1,400. In addition to the 28 to the already-existing villas, 10 villas are currently in development and are expected to be completed by early 2008.
