Hotel giant Jumeirah, a company mostly known for its successful properties in Dubai, is entering the Caribbean. According to published reports, Jumeirah has recently signed a deal to manage a luxury multi-use resort occupying the entire western tip of St. Thomas. The new Jumeirah Botany Bay Resort, formerly known as The Preserve at Botany Bay, will have 84 rooms, and is slated to open in 2011.
