Universal Orlando Reinstitutes Bad Weather Provision

May 30, 2007 By: Mackenzie Allison Travel Agent

Universal Orlando Resort is again extending to visitors its severe weather cancellation policy, "No Questions Asked," this summer, typically hurricane season in Florida. The policy, in effect June 1 through November 30, allows guests to cancel or reschedule their vacations in the event that any active-named storm might affect travel. Guests who decide to cancel will be issued a complete refund or Universal Orlando Resort will assist in rescheduling their vacation. The policy applies to any vacation booked through Universal Parks & Resorts Vacations, including all Universal Orlando partner hotels; or directly through the Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando, which include the Hard Rock Hotel, the Royal Pacific Resort and the Portofino Bay Hotel. Eligibility requires that guest reservations must be booked through Universal Orlando Resort a minimum of seven days in advance and cancelled before 6 p.m. the day prior to arrival. This policy does not apply to guests staying at group rates. Visit [].
