The Travel Group Welcomes New Wedding, Honeymoons Correspondent

The Travel Group is proud to announce its new alliance with Jacqueline Johnson, who will serve on an editorial basis as the Weddings and Honeymoons Correspondent. Through this role she will provide editorial content to all of The Travel Group’s editorial properties, which include Travel Agent magazine, TravelAgentCentral.com, Luxury Travel Advisor magazine and LuxuryTA.com. She will also provide her expertise for special editorial projects, such as roundtables, webinars and other events that unite buyers and sellers of travel.

Johnson is widely known and respected throughout the travel industry as a weddings expert. She is the president and CEO of Jacqueline Johnson & Associates, Inc. with stewardship of the following websites: CaribbeanWeddingAssociation.com, MarryCaribbean.com, GlobalWeddingResource.com and BlogTheWeddingGuru.blogspot.com

Her past experience includes serving as the executive travel director of Brides Magazine, Modern Bride, Elegant Bride, Brides Destination Weddings & Honeymoons and Brides.com. She has also served as vice president and associate publisher for Bridal Guide Magazine, specializing in the Caribbean. For the past two decades, she has served on the board of directors of the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) with the ministers and directors of tourism for 33 separate countries. For the past 10 years she has been a member of the executive committee. Two years ago, Johnson was awarded CTO’s Medal of Excellence as one of the 50 Most Influential Persons in the Caribbean. Johnson is currently the chairman of the CTO Foundation, an organization that raises funds to further the education of outstanding Caribbean citizens who have demonstrated a career commitment to tourism. She is also a Certified Travel Counselor (CTC).
