Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has named Mário Candeias the new managing director of Las Ventanas al Paraiso, A Rosewood Resort in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico.
In his new role, Candeias will oversee all areas of the property, including the 83 suites and villas, three restaurants and spa.
Candeias comes to the position with more than 22 years of experience in the luxury hospitality sector. He spent two years with Pestana Hotels & Resorts in Portugal, where as director of operations he launched Pestana LUXURY Hotels, the brand's new luxury hotel division.
