The 25th James Bond movie, “No Time To Die,” is heading back to Jamaica and will mark Daniel Craig’s final appearance as 007. The island has played an important role in the films, from its star turn in “Dr. No” to its use as a filming location for “Live and Let Die.” In honor of the movie’s release on November 20, 2020, Ian Fleming's GoldenEye in Jamaica is offering a package to experience the birthplace of the greatest spy series.

Boutique cruise line Azamara has announced the launch of its first-ever global promotion on all sailings. Available now through July 17, 2020 in North America and until July 22, 2020 for international markets, the July sale will offer a $500 onboard credit, which can be used for specialty dining, shore excursions and more.

Before borders begin to reopen and travel plans gear up again, La Colección Resorts has debuted the “Brighter Days Ahead” promotion.
The “Brighter Days Ahead” promotion invites travel advisors to book at any of the 15 La Colección Resorts in destinations, such as Cancun, Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, San Miguel de Allende and Acapulco in Mexico, as well as Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Seabourn is extending a four percent bonus commission on new bookings made on 2021 sailings to Alaska, Europe and Canada/New England. The special bonus commission can be earned when booking any of Seabourn’s current promotions, including the "Sensational Suite Savings," valid through July 2020, which offers 50 percent reduced deposits and savings on a selection of suite accommodations and amenities, including veranda suite upgrades, shipboard credits up to $2,000 per suite, air credits, Internet packages and more.
Further, travel advisors can receive commission sooner by taking advantage of booking their clients on Seabourn’s new 10 percent "Early Bonus Savings" promotion, providing an additional 10 percent in savings off the base cruise fare for select voyages when guests pay in full by July 31, 2020.
The four percent bonus commission applies only to new bookings for select 2021 sailings and is not valid on voyages on Seabourn Venture.
In addition, travel advisors can share with their clients Seabourn’s enhanced “Book with Confidence” policy, providing travelers with even more flexibility, assurance and options to cancel their booking up to 30 days prior to departure on any new bookings and receive a future cruise credit. The updated policy also includes a new “Best Fare Guarantee” benefit, which will provide guests who booked a Seabourn voyage by July 31, 2020, with the opportunity to request an adjustment in the event fares are lowered for their specific voyage and suite category.
In further support of its travel advisor partners, earlier this season Seabourn also announced that it will honor travel agency current commission levels in 2021, regardless of performance in 2020, and has extended commission protection on paid in full bookings and on Future Cruise Credits for voyages impacted by Seabourn’s pause in global operations, regardless if the guest selects an FCC or a refund.
For travelers looking to book a Caribbean sailing anytime between December 2020 and March 2022, Star Clippers is offering two complimentary hotel nights in Barbados or St. Maarten for use before or after their cruise. Included in the hotel deal is one breakfast and a ship transfer. The complimentary stays will be available for bookings made by June 1, 2020.
Guests booking a Category Five cabin or higher on select six- to eight-night Windward Island and Grenadine Island sailings (including Christmas and New Year’s) and seven-night Antigua to Barbados on board the Royal Clipper receive two complimentary nights at the Accra Beach Hotel & Spa in Christchurch, Barbados. The offer also applies to the 28-day Atlantic crossing from Cannes to Barbados on October 9, 2021, and the 14-day Barbados to Panama on November 6, 2021.

Asilia Africa is offering discounts of up to 75 percent on a safari for healthcare and emergency service workers from anywhere in the world when travel resumes. For instance: Asilia’s flagship Kenya camp, Naboisho Camp, usually costs $1,065 per person per night; healthcare workers will be offered a rate of $247 per person per night. A typical six-night safari with Asilia staying at Naboisho in the Mara Naboisho Conservancy and Ol Pejeta Bush Camp in Kenya would usually cost $5,136 per person; healthcare workers will be able to enjoy this option for $2,958, including all internal flights to and from Nairobi, park and conservancy fees, six nights’ accommodation and all game drives.

Caribbean all-inclusive hotel company Playa Hotels & Resorts unveiled a Once-In-A-Lifetime-Savings that provides access to the company's "lowest rates ever" with a flexible, 100 percent refund cancellation window.
The Once-In-A-Lifetime-Savings rates apply to eligible bookings made through April 30, 2020 for travel from July 1, 2020 through December 20, 2020. Any bookings made under this offer, are required to be paid in full at time of booking. For any bookings made at these rates, guests can cancel for free provided booking is canceled at least 45 days prior to scheduled arrival date; cancellations within 44 days prior to arrival will be charged 100 percent of the booking and no refunds will apply.
Playa Hotels & Resorts is also offering a variety of other savings options, which are available April 15 through May 31, depending on the deal. Some are offering a free fifth night, $200 in resort credit or up to 63 percent off.
Though the Emerson has shut its doors due to precautions and recommendations from the CDC and local/state health officials for social distancing, the boutique property is now offering a “Get a Gift Card, Give a Gift Card” special now through Monday, April 6.
The Emerson will donate a $10 gift card to Family of Woodstock, Inc.,—a local not-for-profit whose mission is to provide confidential and fully accessible crisis intervention, information, prevention and support services to address the needs of individuals and families—for every $100 spent on a gift card purchase.
Once the hotel reopens in the future, the gift card can be used at the Emerson Spa, The Shops at Emerson or overnight stays. Now, local can use it for their takeout menu from Woodnotes Grill, which serves Catskill-themed menu items with ingredients originating from the local Ulster County and Hudson Valley area.

In order to help dampen the fears of travelers due to COVID-19 (coronavirus), Cultural Cuba is willing to help cover all components of “cancel for any reason” (CFAR) travel insurance.
Effective immediately, for any Cultural Cuba traveler who qualifies for and purchases “cancel for any reason” travel insurance, which covers 75 percent of non-refundable trip costs, Cultural Cuba will cover the additional 25 percent of all land-based costs (i.e. not air). This way, Cultural Cuba says, clients are effectively covered for 100 percent of their non-refundable trip expenses.
“We have found that most travelers do not want to cancel or postpone travel, but they are afraid of the unknown,” Cultural Cuba Founder David Lee says. While travel insurance doesn’t cover “fear,” by purchasing CFAR and Cultural Cuba adding the remaining 25 percent, travelers will be completely covered. “We felt it necessary to cover the rest to give clients peace of mind,” Lee adds.

Silversea has launched a new “Sell and Sail Free” promotion allowing travel advisors to earn a complimentary expedition cruise for two when they sell three suites between February 1 and April 30, 2020.
