Silversea has launched a new “Sell and Sail Free” promotion allowing travel advisors to earn a complimentary expedition cruise for two when they sell three suites between February 1 and April 30, 2020. The three suites may be booked on any 2020 and 2021 expedition voyage aboard Silver Wind Expedition, Silver Explorer and Silver Cloud (excluding 2021 Expedition World Cruise and segments).
The program rewards travel advisors who qualify with a free voyage chosen from more than a dozen eligible expedition sailings in 2020 and 2021. United Vacations is offering travel advisors bonus commission on applicable AMResorts bookings received through February 29.
Travel advisors will automatically earn 15 percent hotel commission on qualifying reservations for Secrets, Breathless, Dreams, Now, Reflect and Sunscape Resorts & Spas, as well as Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts.
Advisors will receive 16 percent hotel commission on bookings to the Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun.
To qualify, reservations must be received by February 29 for travel through December 31. Enhanced commission will automatically be applied to applicable bookings, United said.

To kick off the new decade, the Wyndham Reef Resort Grand Cayman has announced its 2020 Winter Sale, in addition to an increase in travel agent commissions from 10 to 13 percent. Carnival Cruise Line’s yearlong “Why Use a Travel Advisor,” or WUATA, campaign is back in 2020. Featured as “100 Reasons Why Use a Travel Advisor,” the initiative has kicked off with a new booking promotion — “100 Rockin’ Rewards.” Travel advisors can earn 100 bonus reward points for every five bookings they enter in the Loyalty Rocks! Rewards Program between January 13 and February 29, 2020, up to 1,000 points. Bonus points will be incremental to the standard reward points for each of these bookings.
The 100 Reasons WUATA initiative raises awareness about how travel advisors create value for their clients, with the goal of reaching more consumers this year and encouraging them to use a travel advisor. New for the 2020 program is the debut of monthly initiatives with 100 different fun and exciting new giveaways, events, rewards and more to benefit travel advisors and their clients.
“Every month in 2020 we’ll roll out fun initiatives for travel agents and their clients to participate in 100 Reasons Why Use a Travel Advisor,” said Adolfo M. Perez, Carnival’s senior vice president of global sales and trade marketing, in a written statement. “We’re going to educate clients and make sure consumers know that a travel advisor’s knowledge and experience are game changers when booking a vacation.”
To participate in the 100 Rockin’ Rewards promotion, travel advisors need to complete the opt-in form available on GoCCL.com and enter their bookings in the Loyalty Rocks Rewards Program. Reward points can be redeemed for gift cards, merchandise, electronics and more.
The adults-only, all-inclusive Warwick Paradise Island - Bahamas has extended its “WPIB Travel Agents Incentive Program,” which will continue to provide eligible retail travel professionals with cash bonuses of up to $65 per booking throughout 2020 on top of regular commissions up to 20 percent.
The WPIB Travel Agents Incentive Program was launched in May 2019 and was set to expire December 20, 2019, before the extension was announced. Through the program, travel professionals must complete the “WPIB Specialist” training with the resort’s sales team to learn about the features of the resort and the incentives. Travel professionals with a valid IATA, TRUE or CLIA number can register for the WPIB Travel Agents Incentive Program by completing the registration form, available by emailing [email protected]. The agent will be contacted by a member of the sales department to conduct the training and provided with a personalized form to log all bookings that are a minimum of three nights.
Qualified WPIB Specialists will receive the following cash incentives per booking (including group bookings) on top of their regular commissions once all reservations have been validated by the resort:
Direct bookings made via resort’s website
- Three to four nights - $30
- Five to six nights - $50
- Seven or more nights - $65
Bookings via participating tour operators
- Three to four nights - $20
- Five to six nights - $40
- Seven or more nights - $55
WPIB Specialists can opt to redeem their incentives upon validation of their booking or accumulate incentives over time (up to 12 months) into a larger single check. All bookings can be reported up to 30 days after guest departure from the hotel.
Additionally, Warwick Paradise Island – Bahamas provides travel professionals with commission of up to 20 percent on client reservations. Travel agents receive 20 percent commission for “Best Flexible Rate” reservations; 15 percent commission for special promotional and seasonal packages, as well as wedding and honeymoon packages; and 10 percent commission on reservations using special government, military, AARP, AAA and senior traveler rates (65 and over).

Collette has launched a new travel advisor incentive campaign to kick off 2020. For every 10 bookings, agents will earn $1,000. Bookings made from January 1 – March 31, 2020 for travel through April 30, 2021 are eligible for the incentive.
The agent incentive is valid on new retail bookings. The agent will earn $25 for booking one and two, $50 for bookings three and four, $100 for bookings five through eight, $200 for booking nine and $250 for booking ten for a maximum of ten bookings and maximum earnings of $1,000. These incentives will be paid within 30 days following the quarter that the qualifying bookings have traveled. A booking is defined as a minimum of two full-paying passengers in a double room or a single passenger in a single room. All payments are payable per agent and bookings cannot be combined with other agency bookings. The promotion is not valid on existing or group bookings.

New cruise brand Atlas Ocean Voyages has announced the inaugural season for its first ship, the World Navigator, as well as a number of special offers for travel advisors and their clients. The new ship will set sail on July 17, 2021.
For the inaugural deployment, Atlas Ocean Voyages is offering travel advisors an additional three percent bonus commission, for a total of 15 percent. Travelers will also enjoy early-booking savings of up to $2,000 per stateroom or suite, 50 percent reduced deposit and an additional 5 percent savings for sailing consecutive voyages.
For being among the first to secure their suite or stateroom during World Navigator’s inaugural season, travelers can immediately enjoy $1,000 savings per guest per voyage in World Navigator’s Journey Suites, Discovery Suites and Navigator Suite; $500 per guest in Explorer-, Horizon-, and Veranda-category staterooms; and $200 per guest in Adventure staterooms. Atlas Ocean Voyages also is reducing its standard deposit by 50 percent for all bookings and adding a 5 percent bonus savings for travelers who book two consecutive itineraries.
The inaugural savings and bonus commission offers are combinable and applicable for all new bookings made from January 2 through March 31, 2020, aboard all inaugural deployment sailings. Fares are based on double occupancy; applicable for first and second berths; and subject to availability.

Brightline, a South Florida-based high-speed rail service, is rolling out a new group travel deal. Groups of all sizes can reserve a private 49-or 60-seat train car or full train buyout and bring friends and family along to experience the best of Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach together. Through January 31, groups can receive 50 percent off bookings of 16 guests or more.
The events team at Brightline can curate lasting memories for couples, girls getaways, family reunions, kids birthday parties, holiday gatherings and more. Couples can even tie the knot while cruising at 79 miles per hour with 10 or 200 of their closest friends and family. Last August, Brightline hosted its first wedding with a couple from Wilton Manors, FL. The train car was outfitted with elegant floral bouquets and the loving couple said “I Do” as they pulled into the West Palm Beach station.
Corporate or private groups can also rent out all 240 seats and activate each car with unique themes complemented with specialty food and beverages, decorations and music. Turning the train into an experiential journey, Brightline cars can transform into silent disco dance parties, karaoke sing-alongs or a jungle-themed oasis.
Those groups looking to explore outside of the stations can collaborate with the Brightline sales team to create one-of-a-kind destination experiences in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.
Travelers can take advantage of savings in 2020 with an extended air offer and early payment discount from Insight Vacations. From now until February 27, guests can save up to $300 per couple on economy air on departures to Europe, Eastern Mediterranean, Egypt and Morocco for travel through May 31, as well as from September 1 to November 15.
By choosing flights with American Airlines, British Airways, Finnair and Iberia, travelers can save $150 off per person on Economy, $200 off per person on Premium Economy or $300 off per person on Business Class.
Guests who book and pay in full by February 27 can receive a savings of 7.5 percent on trips to Europe and Britain, as well as the United States and Canada.
Norwegian Cruise Line has announced it will allow guests to choose all six “Free at Sea” options at no extra cost until January 8. The promotion, valued at $4,000, applies to guests booking a balcony stateroom or higher and can include a beverage package, a specialty dining package, an internet package, shore excursion credits, free fare for third and fourth guests and free or reduced airfare.
The cruise line’s offer, announced December 31, 2018, will last through January 8 and only applies toward cruises three or more days in length. The deal is part of Norwegian’s Free at Sea promotion, which allows guests to choose a certain number of benefits from six possible choices. This deal allows for guests staying in a balcony stateroom or higher to choose all six of these options.
Guests sailing aboard all qualified sailings, aside from Pride of America and 3 to 5-night Sun & Sky sailings will receive the Ultimate Beverage Package, which is usually $99 per person per day. The deal covers most drink purchases, but limits guests to two beverages per person per transactions. The specialty dining package entitles guests to a certain number of free meals, depending on the length of the cruise. The deal’s internet package allows guests up to 250-minutes of free Wi-Fi per stateroom. Each stateroom also receives $50 per port in sore excursion credit.
Depending on the sailing, guests can bring a third and a fourth guest along for free. No deposit is required for these extra guests. Certain sailings will also include free or reduced airfare from select cities. Air reservations must be made more than 16 days before sailing to qualify.

For those looking to book a last-minute holiday getaway, The Bannister Hotel & Yacht Club on the Dominican Republic’s Samana peninsula is offering a pair of special packages.
“Christmas in Paradise,” available through December 27, offers rates starting at $140 plus 28 percent or $165 for an oceanfront suite, based on double occupancy rate. Virgin Voyages has announced a new commission structure for travel advisors. From December 19, 2019, to December 31, 2020, the new adults-only cruise brand will offer additional opportunities for bonus commissions, including stackable rewards throughout the year.
In advance of the inaugural cruise of the line’s first ship, the Scarlet Lady, in April 2020, Virgin Voyages is offering bonus commissions on all new sailings, including stackable options that can be combined for maximum incentives of up to 16 percent. In addition to the “Perfect 10” commission structure and the brand’s elimination of NCFs, including taxers and fees, travel agents will be eligible for an additional 3 percent bonus on fares for new bookings made from December 19, 2019, to December 31, 2020. As part of the partnership, Eurobound will roll out a series of customizable, all-Spain itineraries, starting with a trio of new regional, independent packages:
Beginning in Madrid and ending in Granada, this nine-day package includes four-star hotel accommodations with breakfast; two nights each in Madrid and Granada, three in Seville and one night in Ronda. Travel is via high-speed train from Madrid to Cordoba and Seville, while a driver-guide takes guests from Seville to Jerez, Ronda and Granada. Private tours and private transfers between airport and hotel are also included.
During their Andalusia discovery, Eurobound travelers will learn how to pair wine and tapas on a private, guided walking tour of historic bars in Madrid, take in a flamenco show with transfer from their hotel by horse and carriage in Seville, visit a winery and enjoy a sherry tasting, and enjoy an Andalusian horse show in Jerez. In addition to Jerez, excursions with the private driver include the White Villages with their white-washed houses and tile roofs, along with the scenic Caminito del Rey overlooking the Gaitanes Gorge 300 feet below.

This itinerary includes four-star hotel accommodations with daily buffet breakfast, private tours and airport transfers, plus a rental car for four days. Eurobound guests spend the first three nights in Madrid, followed by two nights each in La Rioja and in San Sebastian, and a final overnight in Bilbao.
Highlights include a Madrid city tour and privately guided tours in Toledo, La Rioja, San Sebastian and Bilbao. Guests sample wines and enjoy a private wine tour of two wineries in Rioja, along with lunch in a local restaurant. A culinary walking tour in San Sebastian provides a sampling of drinks and pintxos, while in Bilbao, a private city tour includes entry to the famed, Frank Gehry-designed Guggenheim Museum.

Three Mediterranean destinations—Barcelona, Valencia and Majorca—are the focus of Eurobound’s 10-day package. Guests stay in Barcelona for three nights, Valencia for two and Majorca for four. Included are accommodations in four- and five-star hotels with daily breakfast, private transfers and privately guided tours and excursions at each destination.
Highlights in Barcelona include a five-hour tour with a private driver-guide, a private tapas tour and a private day tour to Montserrat and Penedes with lunch at a local restaurant and “cava,” tasting. In Valencia, a private walking tour introduces Eurobound guests to “horchata,” a beverage made from the local “chufa” fruit. A full-day guided tour with driver in Majorca takes in the Tramontana mountain range, with lunch in a local restaurant and a boat ride to Port Soller. Also included is a half-day private tour to Palma de Majorca with its old town and elegant shops of the Plaza de la Reina. The independent tour concludes with a full day at leisure to enjoy Majorca.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises is gearing up for the 2019 season. That is because Regent is introducing special youth rates on Alaska sailings and a special limited-time package that saves guests up to $6,000 when they combine their Alaska voyage with a pre- or post-cruise land program.
Alaska is the premier cruise destination market in the United States, according to Travel Leaders Group’s 2018 Travel Trends Survey, a statistic consistent with Cruise Lines International Association’s (CLIA) predictions. In total, Alaska saw seven percent passenger growth this year. Responding to this traveler demand, Regent’s Seven Seas Mariner is offering 17 Alaskan voyages from May 16 through September 30, 2019, ranging from seven to 12 nights. During the voyages, Seven Seas Mariner cruises the Inside and Outside Passage, visiting ports in Anchorage, the Icy Strait (Hoonah), Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka, Skagway and Wrangell, as well as the Hubbard Glacier.

Expert-Designed Alaska Experiences
Regent’s 2019 Alaskan voyages will feature guest lecturer Terry Breen, a renowned, published Alaska specialist who has been sailing the Inside Passage for over 20 years. During the voyage many immersive excursions are offered for guests to explore Alaska that are included in the voyage’s one all-inclusive price, such as:
- Mendenhall Glacier River Float, allowing guests to experience Alaska’s natural beauty on a rafting adventure down the Mendenhall River, with views of floating icebergs and mountain peaks.
- Tongass Rainforest Nature Hike, where the flora, fauna and history of the world’s largest temperate rainforest is on display as one of Earth’s vital ecosystems.
- Ocean Raft Adventures, an ocean rafting adventure in Sitka, where guests board an Adventure Raft, flying over ocean swells at speeds up to 50 mph. Along the way, seabirds, whales and sea otters appear en route to the ravaged volcanic coastline of Kruzof Island.

Regent also offers pre- and post-voyage land programs for Alaskan cruises. Young travelers experience Regent’s Club Mariner Youth Program aboard all 2019 Alaskan sailings; children ages five to 17 can participate in a range of specialized enrichment activities that educate youth on Alaskan culture, wildlife and nature, and includes games and movie nights.
