The Bermuda Tourism Authority (BTA) recently announced that the destination will soon be even more accessible with seasonal flights resuming from three East Coast cities to Bermuda’s L.F. Wade International Airport.

The addition of flights from Philadelphia, Charlotte and Washington D.C., as well as added capacity from the New York metro area, increases total weekly flights from North America by 39 percent.

Getting to Bermuda will be easier beginning March 29 when US Airways resumes daily service from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to Hamilton, Bermuda (BDA).

In addition, the airline will offer flights daily from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) and Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) two times weekly from the first week of June until mid-August. Subsequently, the Washington D.C. flight will continue on Saturdays until September 5.

Beginning April 15, United Airlines will again offer a daily, nonstop flight from New York/Newark, New Jersey (EWR)

Additionally, JetBlue Airways will increase from four to five days a week out of Boston's Logan International Airport (BOS) on March 29, then to daily service May 3. JetBlue will also increase its current six days per week flight out of John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to daily service May 3.

Currently, there are also direct flight options to Bermuda from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and Boston's Logan International Airport (BOS) from Delta Airlines; John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Miami International Airport (MIA) on American Airlines/US Airways; as well as the Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) from WestJet and Air Canada.
