At the 2010 Carribbean Marketplace on Monday, the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association (CHTA) officially named Noel A. Lynch the deputy general and director of membership. He will report to Alec Sanguinetti, CEO and director general of the CHTA.
Lynch has extensive experience in both the public and private sector in tourism development as the former executive vice president of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA) and then as the minister of tourism and international transport for Barbados. Most recently he served as the lead consultant on the establishment of the National Tourism Authority in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, as well as a lecturer in tourism and hospitality development at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados.
