China Southern Launches Air Pass Program

China Southern Airlines has launched an air pass program for inbound international travelers. Its China Air Pass, good through May 2007, provides purchasers with three domestic flight segments on China Southern Airlines starting at $329 per traveler on specific routes. Travelers can purchase passes valid for up to 10 segments. The base price for a three-segment pass rises by $60 during peak travel periods, which vary by route. Travelers can book their air pass segments before departure or once they're in China. Seats are ticketed positive space in economy class; China Southern is waiving all penalties for changes in reservations.
