The Latest in Las Vegas Residencies

There’s always plenty going on in “Sin City” but as of late, the destination has announced several big-time residencies this winter and into 2022. Here’s the latest.

“Weekends With Adele”

Adele has announced “Weekends With Adele,” an exclusive residency in The Colosseum at Caesars Palace beginning Friday, January 21, 2022. The global superstar will perform two shows each weekend through Saturday, April 16, 2022. This announcement comes on the heels of Adele recently releasing her fourth studio album, “30,” on Columbia Records. The album debuted at No. 1 on album charts in 30 countries and is already one of the biggest selling albums of 2021. 

Carrie Underwood’s “Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency”

In a joint venture, Resorts World Las Vegas and Concerts West/AEG Presents have introduced the brand-new Resorts World Theatre, a 5,000-capacity multi-level live performance venue. It opened with the launch of Carrie Underwood’s production “Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency” on December 1. In addition to Carrie Underwood, the theater will also play host to headliners including Katy Perry, Celine Dion and Luke Bryan. The seventh performance venue in Las Vegas designed by Scéno Plus, the Resorts World Theatre has the city's largest and tallest stage to date, covering an area of 13,550 square feet. The space, with the furthest seat only 150 feet from the stage, has unobstructed sightlines, fully configurable high-definition LED screens, and an immersive audio experience.

Sting’s “My Songs” Residency

Recently, 17-time Grammy Award-winning musician Sting kicked off his Las Vegas residency, “My Songs,” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Produced by the Cherrytree Music Company, Live Nation and Caesars Entertainment, “My Songs” presents a compendium of Sting’s most beloved songs with dynamic visual references to some of his most iconic videos and inspirations. Guests can expect to hear such songs as “Roxanne,” “Message In A Bottle,” “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” “Every Breath You Take” and several other fan favorites, plus brand new songs from his most recent album, “The Bridge.”

Lionel Richie Extends "Back to Las Vegas" Residency

On the heels of a successful and sold-out residency at Wynn Las Vegas, Lionel Richie is extending his residency with a 12-show engagement at the Encore Theater in early 2022. Richie’s show “Lionel Richie: Back to Las Vegas!” will continue on select nights in January, February, March and April. the Oscar, Golden Globe and four-time Grammy Award-winner will share stories from his multi-decade career that included No. 1 hits for 11 consecutive years. Richie has sold more than 125 million albums worldwide and will perform such hits as “All Night Long,” “Hello,” “Easy” and others.
