The Cool Pool of the Week: Baoase Luxury Resort in Curacao

Millennials heading to Curacao may want to cool down by taking a dip in the stylish main pool at Baoase Luxury Resort.

Baoase’s main pool is roughly 1,000 square feet. This infinity salt water pool has a Jacuzzi in the center of the pool. The five Ocean Front Villas surrounding the main pool have direct access to the pool from their patio. The garden and view of the Caribbean Sea gives the pool a unique ambiance.

If clients would like to rent out the main pool for an event, they will have to buy out the entire resort, because it is public domain for resort guests.

The main pool also has a pool bar where people can sit, but there is no service there. The closest bar to the main pool is the restaurant bar, which is just a few steps away. This bar is an open-air and fully equipped bar, located next to the beach and is the perfect spot to start (or finish) your evening with a sparkling cocktail or your favorite drink.

Their signature cocktail drink is the "Baoase Cocktail." It is a cocktail served in a coconut and it has orange juice, lime juice and Blue Curacao in it.

Baoase Luxury Resort in Curacao is a great fit for LGBT guests and all seasoned Caribbean travelers looking for an island where everything is accepted and celebrated.

For clients tying the knot, the resort can do everything from buyouts to ceremonies for 10 guests to rehearsal dinners. The property can accommodate almost any over the top request. For instance, clients can hire a private jet to drop rose petals during the ceremony.

Other over-the-top requests that the resort has met in the past include delivering 100 flowers to a couples' room during their honeymoon. Also, a client once wanted wagyu beef from Japan for dinner and the resort flew it in for him.

Additional experiences include a bottle of champagne upon arrival; a four-course "Surprise Menu" created by the chef in a romantic gazebo setup on the beach and a private picnic on the beach.
