AmaWaterways Appoints Donna Cook as Director, Strategic Initiatives

AmaWaterways has announced the appointment of Donna Cook to the newly created position of director, strategic initiatives. She will report to Chief Marketing Officer Jerre Fuqua and work on a variety of new programs to evaluate and improve the performance of strategic marketing and sales initiatives.

A Philadelphia native with a master’s degree in Organizational Development from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Cook brings in over 20 years of experience in both public and private sectors. She joins AmaWaterways after 14 years with Crystal Cruises in several roles in sales and operations, most recently as the vice president of quality control and communications.

AmaWaterways is a family-owned river cruise line that has been in operation for 15 years. The company offers river cruises with 20 ships that sail Europe’s Danube, Rhine, Moselle, Main, Rhone, Seine, Garonne, Dordogne, Dutch, and Belgian Waterways and Douro Rivers. The cruise line’s fleet also traverses Southeast Asia’s Mekong and Africa’s Chobe River.
