American Cruise Lines to Offer New Alaska Cruises in 2024

American Cruise Lines (ACL) has announced two new exclusive U.S. National Parks cruises for 2024 exploring Alaska. Next year, the company is offering 18-day and 15-day itineraries from Fairbanks to Juneau, which combine guided explorations in Denali and Kenai Fjords National Parks along with small-ship cruising in Glacier Bay, the Inside Passage and Frederick Sound. Both itineraries visit Alaska’s most beautiful ports of call, including stops in Anchorage, Skagway, Sitka, Petersburg, Wrangell, and Tracy Arm Alaska.

ACL’s new "18-Day Grand Alaska National Parks" itinerary includes seven days of guided land exploration through Denali and Kenai Fjords National Parks, and 11 days of cruising Alaska, including the Inside Passage, Frederick Sound, and Glacier Bay National Park. Additionally, ACL's new "15-Day Alaska National Parks" itinerary includes seven days of guided exploration in Denali and Kenai Fjords National Parks; and eight days of cruising, including Glacier Bay National Park.

Both these new itineraries begin with exploration of Denali National Park and Preserve. First established as Mount McKinley National Park in 1917, its name was later changed to Denali in homage to the native Athabaskan people indigenous to the region. While visiting, guests can enjoy once-in-a-lifetime adventures from Denali Dogsledding to a Wilderness Tundra Exploration to a visit to Talkeetna, the basecamp where climbers overnight before summiting Denali.

All daily guided experiences will further highlight the park’s views and rare opportunities to see wild animals including moose, caribou, bears, Dall sheep and wolves. The adventure will continue in Kenai Fjords National Park, which encompasses 607,805 acres of unspoiled wilderness, shaped by glaciers, earthquakes and storms and capped by the largest icefield entirely within U.S borders. Guests can enjoy a special cruise into the park where they can view the famous Fjords up close and enjoy the opportunity to see whales and marine life in their natural habitats. Throughout the journey, American Cruise Lines’ adventure guides will lead guests through some of the most remote landscapes in the world, offering enrichment that illuminates each park’s history, geology and the tales unique to the region.

After the land portion concludes, guests will board 170-passenger American Constellation in Juneau. All onboard accommodations offer guests private furnished balconies from where they can take in up-close views of Glacier Bay, the vertical cliffs of Tracy Arm Fjord, plus local wildlife including whales, seals, eagles and more. Each itinerary includes complimentary guided shore excursions at every port, as well as unique shoreside experiences ranging from a Chilcat Bald Eagle Raft Excursion in Haines, to a private fishing charter in Petersburg, to a Botanical Rainforest Walk in Wrangell.

Itineraries also offer an all-inclusive onboard cruise experience, including complimentary onboard enrichment and entertainment, fine cuisine, wine & beer with both lunch and dinner, and a festive cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres each evening plus a Top Deck Hot Chocolate Bar. American Cruise Lines' Alaska cruises also include complimentary alternative casual dining, breakfast room service, and Starlink Wi-Fi.
