American Queen Steamboat Company Announces American Duchess Schedule Changes

American Queen Steamboat Company (AQSC) has announced schedule changes to the inaugural season of the new American Duchess. Originally scheduled to launch on July 1, 2017, the inaugural sailing of the 166-guest vessel will now begin on August 13, 2017.

Guests who booked on cruises cancelled or delayed due to this change are being contacted by the American Queen Steamboat Company or their respective travel agents. The new sailing schedule with affected sailing dates is available at www.aqsc.com/contact-us/alerts. Beginning with the September 17, 2017, sailing, the American Duchess will sail the previously published scheduled itineraries.

The American Queen Steamboat Company is working directly with the guests and agents impacted by the changes. Guests booked on any of the affected voyages will have the choice of moving to a similar itinerary later in 2017, or, if they cannot cruise any of the remaining 2017 departure dates, they will receive a full refund including airfare cancellation costs.

For guests who choose to move to a similar itinerary later in 2017, they will be rewarded with a free 2018 American Duchess cruise certificate of equal value once they complete their 2017 voyage. Travel agent partner commissions will be protected for cancelled 2017 American Duchess voyages.

American Queen Steamboat Company is the operator of the American Queen, the largest riverboat in the world - longer than a football field, towering six decks in height. The AQSC departs from river port cities including Memphis, Nashville, Cincinnati, Louisville, St. Louis, and Minneapolis.
