Azamara Opens Asia Bookings

Azamara Cruises, the new deluxe brand operated by Celebrity Cruises, on Friday announced it had opened bookings for 2008-2009 Asia itineraries on Azamara Quest. The line also announced Europe and South America itineraries for its sister ship, Azamara Journey. In total, the new cruise line will visit 175 ports in over 60 countries worldwide. Azamara Quest's season in Asia will feature calls in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Vietnam among others. The season will begin with a 24-night voyage from Athens to Singapore on Nov. 22. Azamara Journey's summer season in Europe will kick off with a 16-night cruise from Miami to Barcelona on Apr. 9. Notable ports of call will include Lisbon, Seville and Almeria, Spain.
