Azamara Welcomes New Sales Directors

Azamara Club Cruises announced the appointment of Carmen Corvos Roig to Director of Field Sales and the promotion of Anita Carson, CTC, to Director of Strategic Partnerships.

“Carmen and Anita’s expertise and successes will help them to continue to drive Azamara’s momentum to become one of the world’s most distinctive experiences for up-market travelers,” commented Edie Bornstein, vice president of Sales and Marketing for Azamara.

As Director of Field Sales, Roig is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and needs of the field sales team and successfully meeting the department’s key goals. Previous to this position at Azamara, Roig served as the Senior Director of National Accounts for Costa Cruise Line and Director of Sales at Carnival Cruise Lines. She is a recipient of numerous sales awards for exceeding sales goals and developing exceptional relationships with her accounts.

In addition to her role as Director of Strategic Partnerships, Carson previously served as Manager of Strategic Business Development for the Northeast Region. Carson will apply her more than 25 years experience in the Travel and Hospitality industry as she expands her responsibilities and creates strategic relationships with Azamara’s sales partners. Before joining Azamara, Carson served as the Regional Sales Manager for Cunard and Seabourn cruise lines for more than a decade.
