Carnival Breeze Adds Guy Fieri Smokehouse, Alchemy Bar During Drydock

During a recent refurbishment that took place in Freeport, Bahamas, the Carnival Breeze added two new F&B outlets: the Guy Fieri-designed Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse and cocktail pharmacy-themed Alchemy Bar

Developed in tandem with Food Network star Guy Fieri, Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse is an open-air free-of-charge venue offering a variety of BBQ favorites with a menu that includes championship pork butt, blue ribbon chicken, smoked Andouille sausage and sliced smoked round of beef. Fieri's own take on traditional sides like mac daddy mac & cheese, old school potato salad, scratch-made slaw, collard greens with smoked turkey and molasses baked beans with bacon and burnt ends are available as well. The dining venue also offers a variety of the chef's signature BBQ sauces and a hot sauce bar.

One of the renowned beverage concepts in the cruise industry, Alchemy Bar, also joined the Carnival Breeze. Alchemy Bar is designed as a vintage cocktail 'pharmacy ' - complete with mixologists in lab coats who "prescribe" concoctions from different elixirs and ingredients or create guests' custom drinks.

The new venues compliment Carnival Breeze's variety of onboard innovations which includes the WaterWorks Park, the SportSquare outdoor recreation area with a suspended ropes course, the Cucina del Capitano family-style restaurant, and the Thrill Theater

Following the two-week dry dock, the 3,690-passenger ship resumed its year round schedule of seven-day cruises from Galveston, TexasCarnival Breeze offers two different seven-day western Caribbean itineraries departing every Sunday. The first itinerary includes calls at Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel, while the other visits Mahogany Bay (Isla Roatan), Belize, and Cozumel.
