Through September 1, travel agents can win an Amazon gift card from Carnival Cruise Line by responding to certain posts made on the Carnival Trade Facebook page.
For the first video, posted August 7, Carnival posted a video from the tour and asked agents what makes them a travel agent rock star.
The cruise line visited agents in six cities his past May including Houston, New Orleans, Charleston, Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Orlando during the seven-day “Agentpalooza” bus tour. The tour featured a fun-zone with DJ, photo booth, and lawn games as well as one-on-one meetings with sales teams. The tour also featured community service and philanthropic events.
Host Aldolfo Perez, vice president of sales and marketing, hosted the tour. And to kick it off, he got “Travel Agents Rock” permanently tattooed to his upper arm.
From September 1-30, Carnival is also offering travel agents higher commission percentages on bookings for the “AMP Up Commission Challenge.,” also part of the Travel Agents Rock program. Registration is open until August 18. Agents can increase their commission by up to 15 percent when they make 21 bookings.
