Carnival Creates Travel Agent Web Site for Planning Cruise-Themed Sales Events

In conjunction with Cruise Line International Association's "World's Largest Cruise Night" promotion taking place Oct. 19, Carnival Cruise Lines has created a special web site providing travel agents with helpful tips and information for planning cruise-themed sales events. The new "micro-site," available within the line's travel agent Internet portal, [www.bookccl.com], includes a section entitled "Planning Your Cruise Night" with detailed information for compiling an invitation list, establishing a theme for the evening, generating publicity, and coordinating post-event follow-up marketing efforts. There's also a link to CarnivalConnections.com, the line's new online community that serves as a tool for travel agents to organize group cruises. For more information or reservations, call (800) 327-9501 (individual) or (800) 327-5782 (groups) or visit the web site.
