Carnival Launches Redesigned Travel Agent Rewards

Carnival Legend

Carnival Cruise Line is launching a new rewards program for travel agents. “Loyalty Rocks!” replaces the previous program, which distributed more than $1 million in gift cards to travel agents and concluded in March.

Carnival is celebrating the launch of “Loyalty Rocks!” with a “Loyalty Rocks! Booking Challenge” through July 18. Each booking that has earned reward points will be entered into a daily drawing for 1,000 rewards points (a $50 value in gift cards). At the end of the challenge, all bookings that have earned rewards points during the month will be eligible to win a grand prize of 20,000 rewards points (a $1,000 value in gift cards).

In a written statement Carnival SVP Sales and Trade Marketing Adolfo Perez said that the new program was redesigned based on travel agent feedback to focus on the individual agent level.

“Loyalty Rocks!” has an extended array of new features and perks for travel agents. The new program uses the same identification that agents use at GoCCL.com, eliminating multiple IDs and passwords. “Loyalty Rocks!” also is mobile friendly, enabling agents to enter points on the go.

The simplified system makes tracking points more manageable, Carnival said, with agents receiving between five and 50 base points per booking and lower reward redemption values. Earning extra points is easier with the “Loyalty Rocks!” rewards program. All staterooms in a group are now eligible to receive points, and agents earn more points for higher stateroom categories and longer cruises. Travel agents can now also earn bonus points for eligible bookings.

The new rewards program goes beyond gift cards, giving agents the opportunity to also redeem points for jewelry, electronics, movies, gift baskets and more. Items will rotate regularly so there’s always an exciting selection of options.

“Loyalty Rocks!” is available for travel agents who reside in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada who have a valid GoCCL.com ID and password, as well as permission from their employer. Travel agents can find complete “Loyalty Rocks!” details under the “Agents Rewards” tab at GoCCL.com.
