Carnival Splendor to Sail From California After European and Caribbean Seasons

The 3,006-passenger Carnival Splendor, scheduled to begin service next summer, will operate seven-day Mexican Riviera cruises beginning March 2009, after its inaugural schedule of European and Caribbean voyages, Carnival announced Wednesday. The ship will operate out of Long Beach, CA and will be the first Carnival ship to feature exclusive spa staterooms and suites, of which there will be 68 total.
