Carnival Cruise Line will visit travel agents in six cities - Houston, New Orleans, Charleston, Atlanta, Jacksonville and Orlando - as part of its 'Agentpalooza' event series May 11-18, 2017. Hosted by Carnival Vice President of Sales & Trade Marketing Adolfo Perez and the line's sales leadership team, the tour offers events with one-on-one meetings between agents and Carnival sales team members, marketing and product experiences and a variety of entertainment activities. A philanthropic component will round out each event.
In a written release announcing the events Perez said they chose to continue the theme from their previous 'Travel Agents Rock' campaign and name the series of festival-style events, 'Agentpalooza'. Stops on the "Agentpalooza" bus tour schedule include:
- May 11: Houston, Texas
- May 12: New Orleans, Louisiana
- May 15: Charleston, South Carolina
- May 16: Atlanta, Georgia
- May 17: Jacksonville, Florida
- May 18: Orlando, Florida
During each event, agents will have the opportunity to engage with Perez and the Carnival sales team in four different bus tour areas:
- Carnival Fun Zone: a live DJ, photo booth, lawn games, and a Cherry on Top candy area
- At Your Service: Agents have the opportunity to have one-on-one meetings with the sales leadership team and their local business development directors
- Community Impact: Dedicated to giving back to local food banks and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
- Rockstar Moments: In Houston and New Orleans, agents can participate in video segments to be aired on the line's trade Facebook and www.GoCCL.com agent portal.
Light snacks and raffle prizes, including a complimentary eight-day Carnival cruise will be given away at each 'Agentpalooza' tour stop. Travel agents are encouraged to sign up early for these events, as availability is limited.
