Celebrity Cruises’ Galapagos expeditions on Celebrity Flora are now available for booking in 2027. Each seven-night, 10-night, 11-night or 16-night all-inclusive itinerary provides guests an opportunity to contribute to conservation efforts by taking part in reforestation in the region.
Celebrity Flora is an exclusive, 100-passenger mega-yacht designed specifically and purposefully for sailing in the Galapagos. Guests enjoy all-inclusive accommodations and elevated culinary offerings. Itineraries led by Galapagos National Park expert naturalists immerse guests in the destination each day, as they take in the nature and wildlife of the diverse volcanic island archipelago. On every Celebrity Flora sailing, travelers can look forward to such experiences as glamping under the stars on board, snorkeling with sea lions, kayaking with sea turtles, coastal explorations along volcanic cliffs and guided tours with giant tortoises.
Celebrity Cruises recently celebrated a significant milestone in its ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and conservation in the region. Partnering with the Galápagos National Park since 2014, Celebrity Cruises marked a decade of progress on its Scalesia reforestation project. The successful project, now referred to as the "Rewilding Galápagos" initiative, invites guests to help restore the natural habitats of the Galápagos Islands and protect endangered wildlife throughout the region. On each itinerary, Celebrity Flora guests visit the reforestation area with Galapagos Park Rangers and naturalist guides to plant seedlings.
Celebrity Cruises is the only tour operator partnering with the Galapagos National Park to carry out such a project, and has planted more than 85,000 endemic plant species to date. To commemorate the 10-year milestone, representatives and park rangers from the Galápagos National Park, as well as naturalists and guests traveling aboard Celebrity Flora participated in a special Scalesia tree planting event.
Established in 2005, the Celebrity Cruises Galápagos Fund has supported local conservation efforts through the restoration of the islands' ecosystems and local community projects. The newly renovated Hernán Carrión Nursery, sponsored by Celebrity Cruises, grows all the native plants used for reforestation efforts in the Galápagos. Over the past decade, guests have helped to restore more than 60 acres and support the biodiverse habitats that are home to iconic plant and animal species.
