Celebrity Redesigns Frequent Cruisers Program

Celebrity Cruises' Captain’s Club program underwent a redesign with features that guests can experience on sailings this month. Additional features will also be presented throughout the year.

New features include The Captain’s Club Celebration, a once-per-sailing event for members only that provides a chance to socialize with other members and senior shipboard officers. This package also includes cooking demonstrations and a new “CC Jams” performance by shipboard musicians.

The newly added Captain’s Club Lounge at Michael’s Club is for Elite members and their cabin companions. The new lounge, which is open during the morning and early evening, will offer a coffeehouse-style ambiance from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with complimentary espressos, teas, and other menu items as well as reading materials. On Celebrity Solstice and Celebrity Equinox, guests can enjoy wi-fi access. Additionally, every evening from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Captain’s Club Elite members and their cabin companions can visit the lounge to participate in a wine tasting event or enjoy a drink before dinner.

The improved Internet benefits allow Elite members to receive complimentary, 90-minute Internet packages, while Select members receive a 25 percent discount.

With improved laundry benefits, Captain’s Club Select and Elite level members can take advantage of new laundry, dry cleaning and pressing benefits, based on the length of their cruise. Laundry and Internet benefits upgrade from tier to tier and are not cumulative.

The Captain’s Club Advisory Board will allow members to express their opinions and comments on ways to improve the program. Members of the Advisory Board will be offered online on a rotating basis to a selection of members across all tiers.

Along with the newly enhanced programs, Celebrity will continue to offer guests its current benefits, which include, for Classic members (one to four tier credits), access to the loyalty desk and loyalty host. An onboard discount booklet, access to the new Captain’s Club Celebration event, a complimentary custom air request, pre-cruise specialty restaurant reservations, member reunion cruises, one-category upgrades and an online newsletter are also offered.

For select members (five to nine tier credits), all of the benefits of Classic membership are included in addition to plus priority embarkation, a complimentary wine seminar, priority status to shore excursion waitlist, an invitation to the senior officers’ cocktail party, 25 percent off an Internet package, complimentary pressing of two clothing items and discounted laundry on cruises of 12 nights or more.

Elite members (10 or more tier credits), receive all the benefits of Select membership along with private shipboard departure lounge with continental breakfast, priority tender service, priority waitlist for dining room seating, tea service, complimentary use of Thalassotherapy pool use on Celebrity Mercury, complimentary access to the Persian Garden, access to the new Captain’s Club Lounge at Michael’s Club, 90 free Internet minutes, one free item of dry cleaning, a complimentary bag of laundry and additional discounted laundry on cruises of 12 nights or more.
