Cruise Specialists, a leading luxury cruise and tour agency, plans to launch a luxury host agency program this summer: the Partners in Travel Luxury Travel Network. Through this program, Cruise Specialists will invite travel agents experienced in selling luxury cruises and tours to become an independent or home-based member of the luxury network. Greg Nacco, Director of Cruise Specialists said, "We fully expect the Partners in Travel Luxury Travel Network to be the best and most sought-after home-based agency program in the industry." The Partners in Travel Luxury Travel Network is the luxury arm of national host agency Partners in Travel. While the original Partners in Travel network of agents focuses on selling value-based cruise and tour packages, the Partners in Travel Luxury Travel Network agents will concentrate on high-end luxury cruises and tours. Approved independent agents will be able to work at home while enjoying the benefits of membership in a premium luxury cruise agency network, such as Virtuoso, as well as high commissions, lead referrals, preferred rates and exclusive amenities for their clients. According to the CLIA 2006 Market Profile Study, overall interest in luxury cruise vacations has increased 44 percent in the past two years, with the average luxury traveler spends $2,320 per person, per week. "The growing number of luxury cruise travelers represents a huge opportunity for qualified travel agents to take advantage of this lucrative market by joining the industry's leading luxury cruise agency," said Janet Lanterman, founder of Cruise Specialists.
