Jayme Porkolab has taken on the role as Director, Global Sales for Cruise West, where she will focus on developing the cruise line’s sales department. Her responsibilities include outside sales, internal operations, reporting and analysis for the company. Her past experiences include, Director level positions with Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd and leadership positions in the airline industry.
“Jayme’s well-rounded background in the tourism industry and stellar reputation is exactly what we sought for this new position,” said Dietmar Wertanzl, president and CEO. “In the last 14 months we launched five new cruise products including a new epic world cruise, so having a seasoned sales professional with vision in this role is critical to our continued success.”
From Cincinnati, Ohio, Porkolab holds a Master’s in International Business from Xavier University. She also attended seminars in World Economics at Sophia University, Tokyo. She reports directly to Vice President of Sales and Marketing and CMO Richard Genovese.
