Crystal Cruises has added BBC World and Sky Sports to its roster of
in-stateroom television programming. Launching this month in time for the line's
expanded season in the Baltic and Mediterranean, the expansion is largely in
response to growth in the line's U.K.
clientele; that market has nearly doubled in the last five years and is Crystal
Cruises' second-largest source market after North America.
BBC World and Sky Sports are the first non-U.S. based networks added to Crystal
Cruises' lineup of programming that already includes CNN, Fox News, ESPN, CNBC,
TNT, TCM, Discovery and National Geographic. BBC World broadcasts international
news, business and sports coverage 24 hours a day, and Sky Sports is the UK's dominant
sports network.
