With the celebration of Queen Mary 2’s fifth birthday, Cunard announced that its relationship with Canyon Ranch is growing and that they will be offering new treatments and services. The two joined forces during the designing and building of the Canyon Ranch SpaClub on the Queen Mary 2 in 2004.

The newly offered treatments and services on Queen Mary 2 include voya seaweed treatments, which incorporate an organic line of products with seaweed harvested in Ireland that are freeze dried and re-hydrated into its organic state for use in body detoxification services. Guests onboard can also find the detoxifying and revitalizing rituals and performance orthotics service, which utilize specialty equipment.

The SpaClub offers 24 massage, body and skin care treatment rooms, a fitness center with over 50 pieces of cardio- and weight-training equipment, and a relaxation room. Guests can utilize the Thalasso-therapy Pool with airbed recliner lounges, neck fountains, a deluge waterfall and air tub and body massage jet benches. After relaxing in the pool, guests have the option of visiting the Thermal Suite, where they can sit in the herbal sauna, Finnish sauna, reflexology basins and a steam room. SpaClub also offers the "rasul ceremony," which is a Canyon Ranch signature treatment.

After pampering themselves in the spa, guests have the opportunity to get in shape by entering one of the fitness facilities where they can find group and private fitness, yoga and tai chi classes.

In addition to the new spa treatments, Canyon Ranch chefs are teaming with Cunard’s Executive Chef Jean-Marie Zimmermann to design nutritious spa menu selections for Queen Mary 2 restaurants.
