Cunard Line, operator of Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2, just celebrated its 175th anniversary year with a historic sailing launched from Southampton on May 3.
Commodore Christopher Rynd, master of Queen Victoria, was joined by captain Chris Wells of Queen Mary 2 and captain Inger Klein Thorhauge of Queen Elizabeth, to take command of their respective ships. The event marked the first time the fleet has sailed together in daylight, traveling from Cunard’s homeport.
