DQSC Dishing Out Early Booking Incentives for 2007

Following a layup for the rest of the year, Delta Queen Steamboat Company's American Queen will join sisters Delta Queen and Mississippi Queen in spring 2007 to travel the lower Mississippi River from New Orleans. The company is celebrating the return of the American Queen with several advance purchase offers. The American Queen opens the season on March 9, 2007, with a series of "Spring Pilgrimage" cruises through April, followed by three- and four-night cruises through May, as part of the "New Orleans & Riverboat Adventure Week" cruise-tour package. The Delta Queen, starting on March 17, 2007, will sail between New Orleans and Memphis through April. The Mississippi Queen's first cruise will depart April 15, heading for the annual Quilting Conference in Paducah, KY, followed Louisville for the Derby, then back to New Orleans in June for the annual Great Steamboat Race with the Delta Queen. All 2007 steamboat vacations booked by Aug. 31, 2006, will receive 2006 fares. Other incentives include 30 percent off and free air on select departures.
