European Luxury Barges Announce Refurbishments

European Waterways has announced the completion of their major refurbishment project on several of their luxury hotel barges for 2011.
The 12-passenger hotel barge in Burgundy, La Belle Epoque, has new bathrooms in two cabins, new air conditioning, heating and dehumidifying systems, as well as new or improved electrics, soundproofing and plumbing. The cabins have been fully redecorated and now feature new wood panelling, beds and bed linens, while the barge also has new carpets, curtains and brass lighting throughout.
The sister ship, L'Impressionniste, has a new bathroom, new beds in all the cabins, stylish new seating in the saloon and new lighting throughout.
Finally, Anjodi, European Waterways’ best-known hotel barge on the Canal du Midi, has four newly-fitted bathrooms and new bedding and soft furnishings.
