Four Seasons Yachts, in partnership with luxury yachting company Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd. and Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri, marked a significant construction milestone with the float out of Four Seasons I on January 23.
The celebratory event, attended by the top executives of Four Seasons, Marc-Henry Cruise and Fincantieri, began the official one-year countdown to the launch of the first Four Seasons Yacht. The vessel is slated to begin its maiden journey on January 25, 2026.
A float out ceremony is held once the exterior of the ship is completely built and marks the first time a new vessel floats on water. In keeping with maritime tradition, it is a key milestone in the construction of a ship and recognizes the shipbuilders’ accomplishments to date. The brief ceremony includes words and prayers from a priest for the ship and its workers. Following the event, the ship moved to a wet dock for the final phase of construction, which will focus on completing interiors, fixtures, and fittings for suites, restaurants, and all other public spaces.
Featuring 95 residential-style suites, the yacht will debut with winter and spring voyages in the Caribbean, followed by Mediterranean itineraries each summer. Every voyage is designed to immerse guests in the culture and history of each destination.
