Jewel River Cruise Line, the new boutique-luxury cruise line founded by former Silversea CEO Albert Peter, has appointed Terri Haas as vice president of sales and Jim Burnside as chief information officer. The line's president and COO, Jacques Wulffaert, made the announcement.
Haas' most recent position was as director of sales, North America for Costa Cruises, where she was responsible for management of the entire North American sales staff and for revenue goals. Prior to that, she spent 16 years on Royal Caribbean International's sales force.
Burnside, a 20-year industry veteran, worked at Silversea Cruises for seven years, most recently as vice president of revenue performance and passenger services. Both will be based in Jewel River's Ft. Lauderdale offices. (DE)
