Lindblad Unveils Two Itineraries Aboard Sea Cloud

Lindblad Expeditions has introduced two itineraries aboard the 58-guest Sea Cloud, a 30-sail vessel that blends old-world traditions with modern-day comforts. On these journeys, guests will sail along the coasts of Croatia and Slovenia or to ancient sites in the Western Mediterranean.

Sea Cloud, a four-masted barque launched in 1931, sports furnishings chosen by its first owner, socialite Marjorie Merriweather Post. Guests aboard the historic ship will discover isolated beaches and small fishing villages besides popular destinations.

The 10-day “Extraordinary Adriatic: Croatia and Slovenia Under Sail” itinerary departs August 17, 2023. Guests can soak up history and local culture along the coasts of Croatia and Slovenia. They can delve into the legacies of the Roman and Venetian empires, visiting ancient ruins and striking architecture that span the centuries. Guests can visit picturesque old towns from Rovinj to Hvar, sample local wines and specialties, and explore castles and palaces as they sail from Venice to Dubrovnik.

The 16-day “Sailing the Western Mediterranean: Spain to Corsica” itinerary departs April 19, 2023. Guests will set sail from Lisbon and trace the coast of Iberia, venturing inland to explore Seville and Granada. Highlights include island-hopping across the western Mediterranean from the Balearic Islands to the shores of Italy; visiting prehistoric monuments on Menorca and Corsica; exploring harbor towns in Mallorca and Sardinia; and sailing through the Strait of Gibraltar.
