Margaritaville at Sea to Debut Multimillion-Dollar Upgrades in June

Margaritaville at Sea is launching its “Summer Sail-A-Bration” to announce a multimillion-dollar round of upgrades and additions to the Margaritaville at Sea Paradise. When the ship sets sail on June 2, passengers will discover refreshed spaces including F&B options, two new stage shows and new onshore adventures in the Bahamas. According to Kevin Sheehan, Jr., president and CEO of Margaritaville at Sea, the project will include several additions, along with enhancements to some of the ship’s favorite features, amenities and staterooms.

New entertainment and dining options will include:

  • Paradise Pickleball at Sea – The ship’s forward deck will include a regulation pickleball court and outdoor lounge space
  • Keys on the Water Dueling Piano Bar – This new venue will host two piano players, nightly entertainment and unique craft cocktails
  • Stars on the Water Production Shows – Two new theater shows, “Caribbean Heat” and “Radio Margaritaville: LIVE! At Sea,” will provide immersive onboard entertainment
  • Cheeseburger in Paradise Burger Bar – This new, no-extra-charge addition at 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill will allow guests to build their own burgers

Other upgrades, additions and enhancements include the following:

  • The revamped Fins Up! Fitness Center will offer the newest connected fitness experiences, including Touch Smart Fitness Mirrors for yoga, plus bikes and rowing equipment. Suite Cabins will be equipped with connected mirror equipment for an in-cabin fitness experience
  • Fin City Arcade will include a line-up of the latest video games
  • All 658 staterooms of the ship will be refurbished
  • At the refreshed Jolly Mon Kid’s Club (ages three to six) and Parakeets Kid’s Club (ages seven to 12), youth counselors will entertain children with games, arts and crafts, shows and tours
  • At Hemisphere Nightclub, guests can enjoy a refreshed cocktail menu, bottle service, a live DJ, and a revamped venue on the ship’s highest deck
  • The ship’s main dining room, Fins Dining, will offer an expanded menu with new island-inspired signature dishes, desserts and a new selection of beverages

Besides the new onboard experiences, Margaritaville at Sea is expanding its onshore excursions in Grand Bahama, adding an “Ultimate Party Boat and Snorkeling Experience” and “Grand Bahama Cycling Adventure” to the current line-up of pig swimming, dolphin encounters, and all-inclusive resort day passes. The ship has also partnered with the Pelican Bay Hotel, offering guests a third “Cruise & Stay” option to extend their travels by combining the cruise with a stay on Grand Bahama Island.

Deal: To mark the occasion, Margaritaville at Sea has created a “Buy-One-Get-One (BOGO)” special, offering its three-day/two-night cruises from Palm Beach to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, for $169 per guest, with a second guest sailing for free. The “BOGO” offer is available for purchase through May 31, and valid for sailings through December 31, 2023. The offer is valid for all category staterooms, and does not include taxes and fees.
