Wressell holds more than 25 years of experience in the travel industry—the past 13 of which she spent with Holland America Line. She started there as manager of advertising and rose through the ranks until, most recently, she served as the vice president of marketing communications. In this position, she built a partnership between the company and O, The Oprah Magazine.

Before Holland America Line, Wressell worked in various marketing positions at Virtuoso, including director of creative services. While there she oversaw direct mail campaigns for over 30 travel suppliers, including an assortment of cruise lines, including Seabourn, Crystal, Regent, Silversea and Princess Cruises. Prior to that, she worked with Elgin DDB Advertising for almost a decade, holding several account management positions.

Windstar Cruises operates six ships in 80 countries across Europe, the Caribbean, Costa Rica, the Panama Canal, Asia, Alaska, British Columbia, Canada and New England. Its fleet offers a combined 1,242 passenger berths with each ship accommodating between 148 and 310 guests. Windstar Cruises is a member of Xanterra Travel Collection.
