Hapag-Lloyd Cruises' Europa 2 is bringing back its “fashion2sea” event, developed in collaboration with designer duo ODEEH. During the special sailing, cruisers will get to enjoy the following amenities:

  • Exclusive capsule collection for the Europa 2
  • Pop-up boutique in collaboration with fashion magazine VOGUE
  • Highlights: fashion show and talk, beauty workshop

One month after cruising the Mediterranean with performances by SHILLER, the vessel will sail down Europe’s west coast. This August, the ship’s pool deck will turn into a catwalk. Off the coast of Bordeaux, designers Otto Drögsler and Jörg Ehrlich of ODEEH will showcase a capsule collection designed exclusively for this cruise along with highlights from their new collection in a fashion show on board the Europa 2.

Christiane Arp, editor-in-chief of German VOGUE and president of the Fashion Council Germany, will curate an onboard store featuring ODEEH and other premium German designers from the Fashion Council Germany—Layla de Mue, Lika Mimika, PB 0110, Phylyda and Stiebich & Rieth.

Guests can buy their favorite pieces directly onboard, speak with designers and get some advice. On the opening day, they could also listen to Christiane Arp share her expert knowledge of fashion in person. Stylist Dimitris Dimitrakoudis will be giving advice on how to style hair and makeup in workshops.

The fashion2sea cruise runs from August 7– 19, 2019 (12 days), from Lisbon to Hamburg
