MSC Euribia Debuts New Food and Beverage Spaces

MSC Cruises has revealed details of its newest ship, MSC Euribia, which will launch this June. The ship will offer 10 unique dining venues, including five specialty restaurants and five main dining spots, as well as 21 bars and lounges. Here's what travelers can expect:

The digital Helios Wine Bar, with multi-touch tables activated by digital coasters, offers guests the opportunity to dive into the history, grape varieties, wine-making regions and more about the drink in their hand. The venue will offer 96 varieties of wines. A selection of food pairings will also be offered for those who wish to indulge in cheeses, cured meats, finger food and nuts. Throughout the cruise, Helios Wine Bar will also host masterclasses for guests.

Le Grill is a new specialty brasserie-style restaurant centered around shared dishes, such as seafood platters and caviar. It will also serve traditional dishes besides a selection of French desserts. Le Grill has a bar right outside that blends live music and fine art, intending to create the feeling that guests have stepped onto the streets of Paris.

Kaito Teppanyaki & Sushi Bar is a mainstay specialty restaurant on MSC Cruises’ ships, offering the flavors of the Far East created on two teppanyaki grills. The adjacent sushi bar offers a more intimate experience, with a list of 40 items made with fresh and carefully sourced ingredients. For the first time on the MSC Cruises’ fleet, Kaito will offer a robatayaki space, using the Japanese barbecue-like method of cooking that combines seafood, meats and vegetables cooked at varying speeds. Combined with sushi and sashimi, the space offers large combos to share with signature futomaki uramaki (rolls) created by expert chefs and more.

Besides the specialty restaurants, MSC Euribia will also house:

  • The 1,336-seat Marketplace buffet, offering international flavors, including pizza served late and mozzarella made on board
  • Main dining restaurants Colorado River, Green Orchid and Il Campo, and sister restaurants, Aurora Boreale and Aurora Borealis, offering complimentary meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner

Jean-Philippe Maury Chocolat & Café offers 40 kinds of chocolate products and biscuits, while the adjacent Crêpes & Gelato includes 17 flavors of ice cream and sorbet and 10 types of signature crêpes.

The ship will also offer 21 bars and lounges, including five outdoor and 16 indoor, with a range of specialties, from Champagne Bar to the adults-only Sky Lounge, where molecular cocktails can be enjoyed with a panoramic view.
