Royal Caribbean is launching a special travel agent giveaway to celebrate the 1,000 entry in its “Vicki’s Tips” series. The contest will see the cruise line give away $1,000 worth of prizes to participating travel agents.
To enter, travel agents must write up a brief description on which of “Vicki’s Tips” helped them the most and why. Send entries to [email protected] with the subject line “Vicki’s 1,000th Tip” by July 6 at 11 p.m. EST.
Prizes will be awarded in the form of gift cards, and winners will be contacted by the cruise line through their sales manager after July 6, a Royal Caribbean spokesperson tells Travel Agent.
Vicki’s Tips is a resource from Royal Caribbean that sends daily motivational and useful tips from Vicki Freed, the line’s SVP of sales and trade support and service, to thousands of travel professionals who have subscribed. To celebrate the 1,000 tip milestone, Freed will also be spotlighting her favorite tips by sending travel partners her top five tips through July 3. Here’s one example:
“We’ve all had both good and bad experiences over the phone. One basic rule I always follow when my phone rings is to speak with a smile in my voice. And I always remind my team to answer calls with a smile in their voice as well. It may be a small thing, but it’s the little things that make all the difference.”
