Northern Europe Launch Set for Carnival Splendor

Northern Europe will be home to the 113,000-ton Carnival Splendor when it debuts in July 2008. Carnival Cruise Lines' newest ship will operate 12-day voyages from July 13 through August 30, visiting cities in Denmark, Germany, Finland, Russia, Estonia and the Netherlands. Following Northern Europe, Splendor will reposition to the Mediterranean for 12-day itineraries running through October 17. Splendor will join Carnival Freedom as the line's only two ships in Europe next summer.
