It has just been announced that Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville restaurant and 5 O’Clock Somewhere bar have been added aboard Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest Caribbean cruise ship, the Norwegian Escape.
Margaritaville Holdings LLC will also be expanding to the cruise line’s island destinations, including Harvest Cay in Belize and Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas. Given its island lifestyle-inspired theme, Buffet’s brand seemed like a suitable match to create a “Margaritaville experience at sea,” said Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. CEO Kevin Sheehan.
The new restaurant will be included as one of Norwegian Escape’s complimentary dining spots. The 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar will serve as the ship’s outdoor bar and music venues and will host live nightly performances on The Waterfront.
